In 2004, the hospital had a total economic impact of $47 million on its community, meaning $47 million in revenue was generated in Union county by or because of Baptist Union county. During the 2005 fiscal year, 961 babies were born, 18, 176 emergency room patients were treated and 22,785 outpatient visits were recorded at the hospital. In addition, Baptist Union County provided $16.3 million in community benefit during that time, which includes uncompensated medical care and community outreach activities.
