Job Description

To perform various clerical duties, which may include but not limited to answering phones, filing, maintenance of medical records, delivery of messages within clinic, greeting patients and accurate data entry. To resolve the concerns/complaints with patients/families for any issues in the clinic setting and to communicate appropriately when resolution cannot be attained. To maintain confidentiality of all patient related information. Maintain a calm, professional demeanor at all times in clinic. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years college preferred.
Experience: Clerical and/or cashier experience required. Experience in clinic setting preferred.
License/Certification/Registries: None required
Skills: Type 45 wpm. Must be able to operate various office equipment such as PC, multi-line phone system, copier, facsimile, and printer. Must have good phone and public relations skills. WordPerfect and Excel helpful. Competent in basic filing skills (accurate alpha/numeric filing). Competency in medical procedure coding (CPT & ICD-9) preferred.
