The Clinical Outreach Director is responsible for promoting awareness and growth of clinical outreach programs including but not limited to Cardiovascular, Neurology, Telemedicine, clinical screenings, physician consultation, and other specialty programs. Such communication will include developing personal relations with external medical and clinical service providers. Through data collection and analysis, the position will identify opportunities, trends and challenges related to the alignment and retention of business. The director will also work with clinical staff to measure customer satisfaction and address challenges related to service expectations.
Major problem solving responsibilities of this position include the understanding of economic, demographic and governmental changes impacting the state and the regions healthcare system; anticipating and measuring competitor program strategies, market shares and impacts on rural outreach education and referring physician satisfaction with patient services delivered by the hospital.
Increase market share and expand market area for patient services while assisting the organization in moving toward development of new services.
Establish coordinated outreach effort to develop outreach program, calendar, set timelines for initiatives, adjust centralized outreach strategies and open locations.
Cultivates relationships designed to ensure the success of all outreach activities including but not limited to telemedicine, outreach clinical screenings, business development, supervising outreach resources, etc. and establishing clinical outreach sites.
Develops related business plans to include market assessments, financial impact and operational plans.
Coordinate activities of outreach resources including physicians, Nurse Practioners, etc.
Facilities the development of a network of critical access locations.
Works to create top of mind awareness of St. Dominic Hospital services within hospital service area.
Administers state-wide services program by designing and delivering outreach clinical education programs to other hospitals and service providers.

Current RN License required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with data entry and basic analytical skills.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and with sensitive compassion to patients.
Self-starter, organized and results oriented.
The ability to work in cooperation with diverse shareholders within and outside the organization.
Must be able to drive a vehicle, maintain state required automotive insurance and a valid state drivers license within their state of residency.
Must be able to travel 60% to 70% of their time via automobile and/or public transportation to include aircraft.*
