Plans and directs the clinical activities of the Pharmacy Department; establishes programs to provide pharmaceutical care; assists with the supervision of the Pharmacy staff in an effort to ensure appropriate drug utilization; provides consultative services to the medical staff regarding pharmacotherapy. Doctor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy and continuing education requirements of the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Completion of clinical residency. Licensed as a pharmacist in Mississippi, and controlled substance license. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy desired.
