The Surgery Services Service Line Coordinator is a clinically competent Registered Nurse who assumes the accountability for the quality of nursing care delivered on specified surgical services. In this capacity, the team leader gives direct care oversees the care given by other registered nurses, surgical technicians, and unlicensed assistive personnel in the performance of their daily duties while serving in said specialty. The Service Line Coordinator is responsible for securing and maintaining the supplies and equipment necessary for the delivery of care.
